Can I use a standard multi-purpose primer to paint over this or do I need a special high adhesion primer? Also, if I apply with a metal putty knife will it be hard to clean the knife after use (what solvent should I use) or am I better off using a disposable plastic knife set?

You can use acetone, xylene or alcohol to clean your putty knife.

This is now the third time I’m ordering Aboweld 55-1. 1928 Spanish house, 4 original concrete ponds that continue to develop different cracks. I fixed one of them 8 years ago with this product and when I the pond this time, those repairs were as good as new and PERFECT! This stuff is AMAZING!
